About
tefoLOGIC was founded in 2015, in India. Later a headquarter was established in Lewes, Delaware and a branch in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. From its inception, tefoLOGIC focused on developing AI-optimized Edge Computing hardware and Machine Learning algorithms to facilitate real-time data collection and analysis. The company aimed to address the need for measurable and verifiable inventory in industries such as outdoor advertising, retail, and digital signage, leveraging technologies like computer vision, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The leadership team, including Sudeep Kumar Jain as President and CEO, played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s vision. Sudeep, with his background in strategy development, go-to-market planning, and digital marketing, brought significant experience from prior roles. The company’s early mission was to create hardware and software solutions that could be deployed seamlessly to provide actionable insights, particularly for audience measurement and targeted advertising.
By 2018, tefoLOGIC had begun to carve out a niche in the outdoor advertising sector, offering ready-to-deploy hardware and software solutions. Its flagship product, the Kite (aka K-250), a smart media player, utilized computer vision algorithms to detect audience demographics such as gender, age, and emotion with approximately 99% accuracy. This technology enabled privacy-conscious data collection by processing data locally, avoiding the privacy-invasive methods like WiFi packet sniffing that were common before GDPR regulations.
In 2020, tefoLOGIC expanded its focus on digital signage and audience measurement, emphasizing the ability to monetize traffic through interactive content and real-time analytics. The company’s solutions allowed for features like BLE Beacons, QR codes, and NFC terminals to enhance customer engagement and reduce perceived wait times in advertising settings. Additionally, tefoLOGIC integrated its technology with major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), enabling advertisers to optimize campaigns based on peak traffic hours and valuable real estate insights.
Between 2021 and 2024, tefoLOGIC continued to grow its presence in the AdTech and retail technology sectors. The company’s solutions were recognized for their applications in audience measurement, location analytics, people counting, and demographics analysis, serving industries beyond advertising, including retail and real estate. As of July 2025, tefoLOGIC continues to operate as an active company with a strong focus on edge computing and AI-driven solutions. Its Indian subsidiary, tefoLOGIC Technologies Private Limited, has filed its annual financial statements and held its annual general meeting as of September 30, 2024.
